A group of seven students competed in a Global Quest competition in Portland, Oregon organized by the World Affairs Council. The purpose of the competition is to encourage students to learn more about the world. Long Creek was the smallest public school represented there, and we held our own against the best and the brightest. We also represented Eastern Oregon. Long Creek took 27^th and 32^nd place out of 36 competing schools. The students competed well and had a good time. We have been invited back next year to compete again!
